The Montana Learning Center provides science content and teaching strategies to enhance and expand your professional growth. Programs offered give science teachers from throughout Montana and the region a unique opportunity to collaborate with other science leaders and their peers in a beautiful lakeside setting.
“Thank you so much! That was easily the best professional development course that I have been to, and I really enjoyed learning new activities I can use in my classroom and sharing resources with all of you!”
At the MLC, teachers learn how to better engage students interested in science. Programs rely on private donations and vary from year-to-year. For the past two years we have teamed up with Montana PBS, Montana State University, NASA and the Montana Space Grant Consortium to present STEAM in the Rockies. This was an opportunity for teachers to receive OPI renewal credits and learn aeronautics-themed activities that students love.
“Let me add in my THANKS! You are a fantastic group to work with. You folks are “working with” thousands of students over the course of your career, and I feel our youth are in very good hands. Your professionalism is wonderful, and your attitudes are amazing.”
