Exploration & Adventure are key elements
Campers will be exposed to scientific inquiry, conducting experiments, recording data, and analyzing results. Camp activities will include facts about the mysteries of all-things slimy, mushy, oozy, crusty, scaly, stinky, and smelly. This camp comes with a warning…it is not for the faint of heart!
Campers will explore the wonder of the natural world as they adventure through an animal and bug extravaganza. They will discover nature in motion, and explore the art and science of soil and water engineering. Campers will design and build tree houses out of recycled materials, create art projects, and practice mindfulness in nature. This camp is hands-on outdoor environmental exploration at its finest!
Campers will examine the depths of the universe in relation to our place in it using the principles of physical science and astronomy. Campers will learn about light and how various electromagnetic waves are used to explore our universe in addition to the basics of telescopes and how to safely view the Sun. They will participate in a treasure hunt in the night sky using Montana’s largest public-use telescope!
“My 11 year old daughter, Kennedy, is still telling us fun stories and she has already made plans to return next year. This was her best camp experience yet. I can’t say enough about the smile on her face when she’s telling us about her camp experience. Thank you so much for giving her this experience!”
