Young Astronaut Training
Plan a visit to outer space.

In this camp, campers will have the opportunity to train for an outer space mission! campers will choose roles for their space journey and work together on engineering projects, preparing them for a simulated journey to Mars! We will collect samples and return home to base to analyze what we found on our planetary journey!

Water Wonders

Canyon Ferry Lake is the perfect location to experience the wonders of water.

This camp will focus on the power of water and all of its magic. Campers will interact with water to build, play and create while learning the vital role water plays on Earth. Students will learn about science, diverting waterways in watershed models and experimenting with water cycles. They will discover some of the residents of the lake itself, both big and small.

Plan to have fun and learn all about water this summer.

Nature Explorers
Come create crafts and more from nature.

Campers will use natural materials they find around beautiful Canyon Ferry Lake in a variety of creative projects. Students will identify rocks, plants and more from their surroundings to use as tools and materials to create hand-made crafts. Creations and field identification tools will go home with campers, so they can continue their adventures!

Dinosaur Discovery

Calling all junior paleontologists!

Montana is dinosaur country! Join us as we travel back in time to explore the region’s rich prehistoric era. Our campers will learn how paleontologists work, how they search for bones, and the preservation techniques that they use. Junior paleontologists will create dinosaur habitats, explore different fossil types, and even dig up a pet dinosaur to take home!

“This was my boys’ first year at MLC…both boys had a wonderful time at camp…with many great experiences and amazing opportunities. Both boys give this camp two thumbs up and say it is a MUST for all youth ! Thank you to all of you who were an integral part of this experience for my children and best of wishes in the future! The boys will be returning next year.”
