Details

LEGO robotics – To the Moon & Back
Would you like to relive the amazing challenges of the Apollo 11 moon landing?

Working as a team, campers will create a lander, a replica of the Apollo Lunar Module. They will learn how to control a drone and gain skills to land it on a map of the lunar surface. Students will learn how to collaborate with their teammates and increase their knowledge of science, math, engineering and technology.

Fly to the moon with the Montana Learning Center’s expert instructors.

Rock On
Welcome geologists of the future.

Come dig into this geologic gem of a camp where you’ll discover the earth from the inside out. Feast your eyes upon our massive rock and mineral displays, collect your own gemstones, and crack open your own geode! Campers also  will channel their inner “Sherlock” and uncover new treasures during a fossil dig.

Can you dig it?

Zombie Apocalypse
Years after the apocalypse, most zombies have rotted away, leaving behind only a few pockets of humans to protect the Earth and its remaining inhabitants. Learning biology and wilderness survival are vital to enduring this new world. Do you have what it takes to live off of survival stew, in a hut you’ve built yourself? If you’re up for this challenge, be prepared to spend a lot of time outside, getting your hands dirty, to carve out a new future for yourself and fellow survivors.

Water, Water Everywhere
Do you know the ways of water?

Campers will dive into the dynamic effects of water in its various forms on the landscapes of Montana. They also will map local watersheds and perform water quality monitoring by exploring the flora and fauna of Canyon Ferry.

All hands-on activities occur in the splash zone, so pack a swimsuit and sunscreen for a fun filled week!

“My 11 year old daughter, Kennedy, is still telling us fun stories and she has already made plans to return next year. This was her best camp experience yet. I can’t say enough about the smile on her face when she’s telling us about her camp experience. Thank you so much for giving her this experience!”
